License Wallet

Snap a photo of your fishing license once and it lives on your phone — readable offline at the ramp, even with zero bars.

Your wallet, on this device

Add a photo from your camera or camera roll and the wallet stores it on this device only — it is never uploaded, and it never leaves your phone. Photos are downscaled to 1600px on the long edge so they stay quick to open. You can label the record (“TX saltwater, exp. Aug 31”), tap the image to read it full screen, replace it when you renew, or remove it from the device entirely. If a browser blocks on-device storage the wallet says so plainly instead of pretending to have saved it.

A photo is the backup

Handy when your wallet is buried in a dry bag — but the guaranteed-valid proof is your state’s official digital license app or your paper copy. Some officers require it, so carry the real thing too.

While you have the regs open

A license is only half of it — check the current bag & size limits for your state before you keep a fish, and run the boat safety checklist so the required gear is aboard before the trailer touches the ramp.
