The outlook is a transparent score, not an oracle. Choose the species you are fishing for — or leave it on all species for the generic model — and the console scores the water on tide stage and range, water temperature against that species' comfort band, wind and gust strength, barometric trend and moon phase. Every factor that moved the needle is listed with its direction, so an angler who disagrees can see exactly why the number came out where it did and overrule it. Factors whose data is missing are skipped and named out loud, and the verdict is scaled to the factors we actually have — a half-informed guess is never dressed up as certainty.
